CHANGE OF AGM 2012 VENUE FROM MORO-DAR

Dear, and TASWA Members, with a great pleasure i would like to inform you that TASWA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (EC) which met on 8th September 2012 in Dar have decided to change the AGM Venue from Morogoro Municipal to BLUE PEARL HOTEL Dar es Salaam City due to the following reasons:-

1. TASWA will be having some partners from outside the country who would like to participate and share some ideas with host members, but very unfortunately we dont have enough resources to ferry and accomodate them when we are at Morogoro.

2. Some participants for example from Shinyanga, Zanzibar, Pemba, Mara and Mtwara have pardoned the EC to rethink again about Morogoro Venue, because to them is just increasing the budden, hence excessive expenditure they would incur bearing in mind that, this AGM members have been asked to foot their own expenses i.e. accommodation and transport

3.Selecting a venue for the AGM is something mandatory to all TASWA Members, hence it will be decided by all members in the 2012 AGM for the next AGM 2013

Under the three conditions mentioned above, the EC decided and blessed that the AGM 2012 will be done in BLUE PEARL HOTEL-DAR ES SALAAM from 16/10-18/10/2012 whereby in the 16/10/2012 TASWA members and other stakeholders will discuss on National social worker conference (topics will be provided) while from 17th and 18th it will be an AGM
